Upgraded my return flight using my pts to Biz class, and just reached the Krisflyer Gold membership after 3 years for flying... finally, i got a 'first' experience to access the lounge in JFK Airport in New York.
Free flows of food, wine, liqour and wireless :), nice couch and environment... not bad, use to be a 'mystery' to me on what is in here, when mystery expose, ha, not that exicited anyway...maybe the lounge back in Singapore will be better... hopefully :)
Another 'first' will happen 2 hrs from now when i finally got a chance to check out the Raffles class air bed, spent 50k pts, a bit 'sim tia' (heartache) but i got 25k pts going to be expire in June, so better spent it then "gift" it... (i wasted 20k last year :(....)
