The one thing that I planned to get for this year is a new digital camera, i lost my Nikon camera early this year during one of my trip to US... I kept looking but so far have not find a camera that really worth the dollar until last week.
My new Digital Camera : Fujifilm's F31fd. Often i found digital camera advertisement publish about big megapixels (MP), best colors, wireless function, easy printing.... but what i really want is a camera that take real good pictures... and not pictures show on the camera itself, but pictures that show on the computer screen (after transfer from camera)...
I have tested Sony DSC-N1, N2, T50, T10.... Canon IXUS 65, 800, 850, 900i... Panasonic FX20?... Fujifilm F30, F31fd.... and Nikon... All of them take quite ok pictures with auto functions on... most of the new digital cameras now have image stabilizer... high ISO.. and loads of tweaks...
But really stand out as a picture, Fujifilm F31fd. (F30 is the older version). It has an average MP at 6.3MP and image stabilizer, but it is the pictures taken that firm up my decision. I was not interested to even test out Fuji as i hate to use special memory, it used XD compare to the commonly use Compact Flash (CF) or Secure Disk/MMC (SD) memory card. And the largest capacity for XD is 2GB compare to SD/CF at 8GB.
I like it, and finally i can take a bit more photos for my son and myself, hence more pictures for my blog :)

My first DC was Fuji but I didn't like it. Hope they improved the quality. Remember to show us some picture from your new toy! Happy New Year.
