Well, again sometimes I found rumours to be untrue... at least from my first 3 days experience, this place seems to be quite ok. Orientation program runs a week (In-kei has cut down to 3 days and I heart del-kei is 1 day). People are quite 'in-kei like" ...factory, cubicles..
Challenges are greater and looks like life will be fun here ^^
I do not have my space yet, so temporary tumpang one cube first until October after my trip from Bergamo (Italy) in late September.
Good thing, Ja-kei allow all US and Europe bound flight to be biz class, so nice! But that will 3-4 times a year for me, i will need to travel to India monthly for economy and they use Cathay Pacific not SIA.... so I need to sign up CX frequent flyer program....
Other things are normal in terms of usual Comp&Ben, 13th bonus, Major Medical, Car interest subsidy... but no RSU though, ESPP got. Also profit sharing every quarter (only for staff stay in Ja-kei more than 1 year).
Work hours is cool, 8am -4:30pm. So go home early for me, and now i start to go gym, attach to Celebrity Fitness, time to squeeze my little belly smaller :P
Last week, Tang left. Sad, so many go Australia.... But for future, its good (for kids), my friend in insurance showed me that day, if my son need 300k for degree in overseas now (4yr engineering, dont dare to calculate medicine...), its equipvalent to 700k 15 y
rs for now (take 4% inflation and 5% increment for tuition fees and currency exchange rate differences)... means every year 30k savings for next 15 yrs.... if I am PR in Aus/US, its about their currency 45-50k for 4 years... save hundreds thousands......
Migrate or not migrate.....? headache.
