Finally I managed to convince my MD to release me, he was sharing with me various views and how he see the company would grow which I will be able to share and play a part of it... He is a nice person contracdict to many rumours or comments I got before I joined. And he is not the person I have problem which is bad (as it so easy to blame and find excuse :P since everyone thinks he is the bad guy). We went for lunch and spent couple hours over few days, finally he agreed to let me go but very dissapointed :( Maybe I will come back to help him part-time...
I will move to new job on Aug 11 but negotiate to be a week late just in case I have still have some key tasks yet able to transition... now in selection of who to replace me from my staff and what development plan for the person and the team. And I still owe the company 2009 budget planning, market survey on salary, training roadmap....etc
On top of that, need to plan on my biz traveling requirements which is monthly to India and couple of trips down US and Europe for some strategic planning sessions.... maybe should consider getting a full-time maid... already have a weekly maid to clean up the house... but may not enough...
Of course, need to reschedule the Friendship Luncheon with the folks which I cancelled last month... should fall on Aug or early Sept, need to organize one before Tang leaves....
