Laptop

Talk about my old laptop awhile ago, but now i got my new laptop, HP NC6400. A 14 inch wide screen laptop which works quite well so far except that i need to accustom to new button placement, function keys and so on...

But i am glad i got my old T40 replaced. Good news is i heard we might go for T61 instead of NC6400 in future, so which means sometime next year, i will change to T61 again since this is a pilot for limited timeframe. Not that i dislike my HP now as it has a SD/MMC card slot, widescreen (which you will appreciate with hundreds of email in a small window) and a stereo speakers, the old T40 has a mono like speakers and music plays badly unless u use a headphone.

I plan to get another laptop in August for personal use as my mom needs it. Probably get a dual-core AMD laptop as it is cheap and fast. Furthermore, I can bring it to Japan during my trip if i need to (too risky to bring company's laptop).

Laptop, if we can use less email and attachments, i only need a PDA with lots of disk space rather than a laptop for day-to-day work.
