Waiting

The plane waited for 2 passengers in Changi and cause the rest of us (on the plane) stranded for 30mins. While SIA has talked about 10 mins before departure time the gate will be close, we still end up spending more than 30 mins waiting as the flight liason officer need to unload the bags for those missing-in-action plus boarded the plane to confirm with the passengers friends about the missing people, one of them, apparently went for smoke... probably having too much fun there...

I should not make a big fuss about this, but just feel irritated with the need for boarding 60mins before departure to prepare but end up the airline is unable to commit the time (departure on-time). Unable to find the MIA's passengers' bag was the excuse, but it shows the preparation and process for the departure needs much improvement to meet their's commitment.

I can understand if some unfortunate events happened, but this just seems to common to me, that i think the airline like SIA should have anticipated. Nonetheless, i original intend to catch an earlier flight to SMF but cant as the flight delay for 30mins plus the time on immigresion. Sigh, now i need to stay in SFO airport for another 2 hours....
