It's a famous term used by lots of Asians towards a country recently. However, it so easy to point fingers to others that one forget to internalize it and realize do we 'arrogant' as well?
The Pearl of Orient, is such a famous place for display the 'arrogant' of Malaysian. 3 lane highway, traffic jam > create the '4th lane' by sneak into emergency lane. These people even proud to declar that see how smart they are to avoid much of the traffic jam...
another... the famous biscuit store in town has 4-5 parking space beside a busy road. Opposite has a school. As long as the people want to get the biscuit, let's park at the road side, and think, nevermind, there's still two lanes available for other cars. I only take 10-15 mins... of course, in the end, everyone take additional 10-15 mins, and those time was given "free of charge" to the cars at the lane to squeeze (3 lane) into 2 lane traffic.
typical..... when someone following the accurate and right traffic rules and ethic, these 'people' on top, will said 'ai yo, you should take a left go forward, overtake the cars in front, then sneak back in just in front of the traffic light'... Or...'see i told you, you should do that, now we are spending time waiting, when will we get to our destination..."
At times, we should look into ourselves and find out what have we become... the excuse of i have no choice is lame... if there is one thing that we all can do to change, its change ourselves. Don't feel bad for people overtook you, or seek revenge (to overtake others as well)... there's no good reason to follow, and there no harm forgiving those lame arrogant people who drive the way they 'wish'.
Let's drive responsibly and safely :)
